HERVE DIZIEN 7 Dan

While still a child, Hervé Dizien discovered Aikido with Master André Nocquet in 1964 at the Stade Français club in Boulogne, when with his father and his 2 brothers, they had come to sign up for judo lessons. After seeing Master Nocquet's classes, all four signed up immediately.

Passionate about this martial discipline but far from the notions of violence and aggressiveness, he has never stopped teaching it ever since, in order to perpetuate the quality of Master Ueshiba's message, according to the phrase dear to Master Nocquet: " project the heart rather than the sword”.

In 1973, he opened his first club on rue d’Auteuil. He taught there until 1987. He passed his first dan in 1974, then the following ones until the 6th in 1996.

Regional technical advisor to the FFAK in 1980, then RTN within the GHAAN, he took over the Paris dojo at the request of Master Nocquet in 1987 when the latter stopped teaching in his club. To this end, Hervé Dizien created the Aikido section of the Athéon club at the Jean Bouin stadium in Paris, a club in which he still teaches today. Hervé was (with Claude Cébille, Claude Gentil and Jo Cardot) one of the 4 members of the 6th grade college, appointed by Maître Nocquet to ensure his succession.

He received the title of 7th Dan during the commemorative course in memory of Master Nocquet in March 2016. He is appreciated for the fluidity and elegance of his Aikido. A former PE teacher for people with disabilities, Hervé Dizien developed his pedagogy by seeking to adapt it to practitioners. He knows how to transmit this art with talent, both in his technique and in his spirituality.
